Hello again one and all,

3 days into the month of September and mixed results so far.

1st September
We started with a loss, thanks to a nearly but not quite perfomance with Goodie Two Shoes finishing in a 3rd. 12 of our merry band of tipsters did a land a winner, however, so provided some options for the following day. Loss on the day £0.10

2nd September
Twelve potential bets, were whittled down, with a non-runner and several multiple entries in races, to seven actual bets placed. Only Garry Owen managed to bag a winner making his start to the month 2-0, and giving us a return of £0.45 for that selection. However, with six losers we had an overall loss on the day of £0.25, taking us to an overall loss of £0.35.

3rd September
With just a solitary bet for day 3, Garry Owen duly obliged again, grabbing a hat-trick, with Optiva Star coming home in top spot in the process, and banking us a profit for the day of £0.43, taking us into a modest profit of £0.18

A winner in both her most recent outings over this distance last month, including a partnership with today's jockey, at this course. Handicapper has felt her last wins is sufficent to raise her 6lb in the ratings, but that still leaves her 3lbs below the top weight, and definitely one to consider.

Cheeky Extra Bet

A loss yesterday with our each-way punt romping home, I mean strolling home, in 6th place, (only 7 ran), a good 12 lengths off the pace. It was always going to be a hail mary of a bet given we had a pick in the same race from our main strategy, however, there were no other extra place opportunities available worth considering.

With our punt today, we are again following Garry Owen to Windsor this time, in a later race, offering 4 places instead of the usual 3 for a field of this size. A winner over 8f in an 8 runnner field, 2 months ago, followed by a 9th of 10, and a 6th of 11, leading to 1lb drop in the handicap. Up in trip for this battle, with an excellent jockey on board, closing in on 1000 overall winners in the UK - will this be the one takes him to that achievement.
