Quick pencil portrait I completed today.
So I got a commission I needed to work on as quick as possible today... I personally had to do it fast so I could get to work on the character creation gig I have been working on for a week and more now... I have just a week more to complete the gig
TOOLS
Steadtler 7b
Gpc graphite pencil 9b
Gpc charcoal pencil Medium
mechanical pencil 0.7mm
PROCESSES
I began by working on the rough sketch of the reference picture that I have already gridded out.. This was very quick.. Years of practice.. Lol. So.
Moving on.
I started shading from the face since its the part that has less darker values a fn then moved to the hair... Trust me.. You don't want to draw the hair first and risk dragging excessive graphite to the fare region.
I then moved to the shirt. I loved this pattern of shirt the guy has on.... Classy, easy and great to draw. It was heaven in the art world for me today
Whaddyu think?
