That blows cold and hard
Gone with the waves
That wrecks my hopes
Gone with the sands
That buries my sorrowful soul
Gone with the last hope
I had of meeting someone alike
Gone like the clouds
That covered the heavens
Gone like the herds
In search of fresh grass.
To an eternal dream
That has been slain
To a shattered trust
That is now in vain.
Broken in spirit
Shattered in soul
Painful death
