GoPro BassCam Big Band REHEARSAL 09292025

This is a big band rehearsal. Here we are pushing through the bakc ground parts of the solo setion.

The song is "Come On Come Over."

It's a Jaco tune. It's on his album.
This version I am reading is similar to the original, but not the same. The original recorded part has cute little slides and ghost notes and adlibs that are not written on my bass chart.

I'm a big panzy, look at the guy! He is one of my real bass heros. I shoud probably remember his name. Annyway, at the start of the video he says it took him a while to get it. That almost makes me feel better.

Send him all your money. He has helped my demystify many bass parts.

The rehearsal footage was captured with a new GoPro 11 Black Mini. Great camera, low settings are nice.
