First Week with Solar Power
Greetings, everyone!
This week brought some wild weather to Bucharest, with Cyclone Barbara hitting us on Wednesday.
Amid all that, my EcoFlow order finally arrived, featuring a 1 kWh portable battery. I went for the Delta 3, and I have to say, I’m genuinely impressed with the feature set. Thanks to a running promotion, I managed to grab it for €711.55.
While I couldn’t connect my solar panel to the battery (still waiting for an extra cable before I can do that), I’ve already used the battery as a backup power source during the storm and for a few tech experiments at home.
Here’s my current solar setup:
- Canadian Solar 610W N-type TOPCon Bifacial panel
- EcoFlow STREAM microinverter
- EcoFlow Delta 3 portable power station
Total investment: 904.72 EUR
Despite the gloomy weather, my system managed to generate 5.57 kWh in the first week, already saving me 1.75 EUR:
How cool is that? I’m genuinely amazed by how far solar tech has come, and how accessible it’s become for home use!
If anyone else is interested in EcoFlow, perhaps you could use my referral for a 10% discount on your orders:
