Proof that magic exists in the backyard.

Nature always surprises us many things that it beholds. From natural water, to different colors, to amazing landscape. Nature us gifted us many things. And we should thankful for all these. Explaining the importance of Nature to our village kids. I found a great example in touch me not plant. The plant is one of the rarest gifts that may surprises every individual. Many people are bot aware of it, but the plant is special in itself.

Nature surprises us with the Touch Me Not Plant (Mimosa pudica), in a very unique way. The plant leaves instantly folds its leaves inward and droops when touched. I remember playing with these plant in my childhood days and now finding one growing in our yard I am not going to miss the fun again. The leaves snap shut within seconds of physical contact, shaking, or strong wind. After a few minutes, the leaves slowly reopen and return to normal. However this time, I didnt made it food but prefer to take some picture. The reason being a furry pink flower blooming in one of the stem. I hardly saw them before. But the natural combination of Green and Pink, against the back drop of brick wall is a treat to our eyes.

The flower of the touch me not plant is small, fluffy, and ball shaped, resembling a tiny pink or light purple puff. These round flower heads grow on short stalks from where the leaves meet the stem.

This plant has been a gift that allows the kids to cherish the childhood and help to understand how nature is full of all surprises. Children are amazed when the tiny green leaflets snap shut and droop within seconds of being touched. Kids feel like the plant is playing a game, acting embarrassed, or hiding from them. Children love to wait a few minutes to watch the leaves slowly reopen and come back to life.

Looking at the plant made us to believe that this is one the many reason that make us to compliment the nature and always thankful to them.
