Hello World - I am Locust !

Lately, many parts of India and our neighbouring country Pakistan, were badly affected by the locust.

The green flying insects in millions in number were swarming over the sky and destroying many green fields. Thank god it didn't strike in our area, which is far away from the border areas were these locust were on attacking spree. Still I found one sitting comfortably in our small lawn.

I was so intrigued to watch it, that I try to take the shot as zoomed as possible. The thick shining skin and flexible spiky legs were looking quite dangerous. Here another that show the little dangerous insects that created havoc in farmers mind.

It was welcome sight to find one in one of the pot. Sitting very comfortably and amazes me with his/her silent presence. Even when I was clicking, it it didn't scared away and behave quite normally as it is lifeless. Here are more of the shots taken during the day.

What created so much problem in different part of the world was sitting so silently in front of me.may be his/her Loneliness is the reason and must be missing all friends.
