Festival time - Dhanteras day

At times when #silver and #gold prices are breaking record each day, Indian were enthusiastically celebrating Dhanteras. Today is Dhanteras, that marks the begining of Diwali - the festival of lights. On this day, It is considered highly auspicious to purchase gold, silver, and new utensils, as it is believed to invite wealth and good fortune into the home. This practice makes it one of the busiest shopping days of the year. So after hustling the busy raids and market, I went on to own my piece of Gold.

Dhanteras is the first day of the five-day Diwali festival, setting a joyful and auspicious tone for the celebrations. The festival also emphasizes spiritual cleansing, positive energy, and bringing prosperity to the home. Buying precious metals like gold and silver, as well as new utensils, on this day is considered highly auspicious and a way to invite prosperity into the home. The demand of precious metal is too high on this day. I am quite amazed to see the rush at the jewellery shop, as people from all walk of life were there to buy even a small quantity of the precious metals. During Diwali firecrackers were in high demand after the demand for the precious metals. So my nephew were quite excited to get a bunch of firecrackers.

During Diwali, firecrackers were historically in demand. Fireworks are used to commemorate the triumph of good over evil. In one of the most prominent Diwali narratives, they celebrate the victorious return of Lord Rama to Ayodhya after defeating the demon king Ravana. The market is bustling with all kind of fire shots. From sparklers ro rockets to bomb to flower pots. The presence of fire cracker simply set the tone of the festival. While many people unable to afford them, and considered it is a waste of money. But dowsli without firecrackers is incomplete. The sound and noise of crackers make it a unique and fun filled festival that everyone enjoy.
