Too late (An Original Poem)
A minute earlier
The tilt of a clock
You could have been with me
But because of time you are not
If I had run a bit faster
If I had known what was going on
But all because of me
You are now gone
A number of what ifs
Are filling my mind
If I hadn't took you for granted
I would not have run out of time
I know that it's my fault
I feel awful I do
If I had not been so selfish
Maybe I would still be with you
I can not forget it
My mind fills with hate
You don't know how much I regret it
Regret being too late
