Hand in Hand Walk

I was walking around the city today and saw this mom and her kid holding hands looking around amazed with the atmosphere. She had on a big green plaid shirt, black skirt with speckles, and those striped socks and mid boots. The kid was in an orange sweater, blue pants, and a little hat. He was pulling her along like he wanted to see everything that is eye catching. It was just a normal walk but it caught my eye so I sketched it quick for the Sketchquest Contest. These little moments are what get me drawing. Not big fancy things, just real life moments. The mom looked cool and chill, letting him lead a bit, and he was all excited. Makes you think about how simple stuff like that sticks with you. I like how the colors came out – the orange pops against the green. If you see something cool around you, draw it or snap it.
