Being Over It
Hey guys I am back with a new doodle.
Have you ever just wake up and choose skepticism? This guy did. He has got that face that says, I’ve seen things… and I am unimpressed. Talk about the purple hair-- A statement. The upturned collar? A defense mechanism against nonsense. The glasses? Probably judging you. hahaha
I actually had no particular plan when sketching him, but somehow, his personality just manifested like a grumpy spirit haunting a coffee shop. Oops. Maybe he is a former detective who has solved many cases and now spends his time critiquing bad mystery novels. Maybe he is a retired art critic who only speaks in cryptic metaphors. Either way he has opinions and he is not afraid to share them.
I love how sketchy lines can still carry so much emotion. Sometimes, it’s not about perfect detail but about capturing a vibe and this one screams I don’t have time for this. I know right
What do you think? Who is this guy, and what is the last thing that made him roll his eyes? Drop your best guesses in the comments
