steem2wls is back!
Two days after we published an extended post explaining the current situation and discussing some of Whaleshares' problems, the Whaleshares dev team has finally updated their Python libraries. We have implemented the updated beem library and updated our code and are happy to announce that steem2wls is back!
While cross-posting is working again already, we are lacking RC to fully test out everything. These functionalities are affected for the next few days while we are waiting for out RC to recover to implement and test them:
- Currently, only the first tag is used for the Whaleshares post instead of all tags
- Self-voting does not work yet
- Updating edited posts does not work yet
- Some posts could be skipped
All Premium member's subscriptions have been extended by 40 days, which as a few days longer than the duration of the downtime. All payments for premium subscriptions have been processed with 10 free bonus days, effective from today.
