Cartoon cities: Barcelona
One of my favorite European cities is Barcelona.
Barcelona lies on the Spanish Costa Brava (wild coast) and offers an exiting mix of architecture, culture and has a fantastic culinary scene.
The architectural history of Barcelona start in Roman times, from which today temple colums and the ancient city walls can still be found. The Barrio Gótico is where you find the oldest parts of the city and is a labyrinth of narrow medieval streets and little squares.

In the Gothic quarter you find the Barcelona cathedral, La Ramblas and the beautiful with its palm trees that are reaching for the skies.
