• New State of the Arts Initiatives • Starting April 2018

As our previous SteemIt promotion hits its finale this week (from March Art Madness), we're going to get back to some of our regular content and discontinue others.

For the next month or so we're going to try the following new (smaller) initiatives (to start with).

Arts Features

• Monday: Creative Prowess, Innovation and Design • Award 1 and 2 SBD
We will periodically resteem, display, upvote and promote Creative Prowess, Innovation and Design submissions hashtagged to #stateofthearts during the initiative.
2 SBD. At least one winner receives 2 SBD during the month period, and there will be various other up-vote and 1 SBD awards.
Regularly we will resteem, upvote and feature depending on weekly submissions.

SOA Content and Future (bigger) Initiatives in the Works

• GTB. After analyzing, we're going to discontinue Get Tot Blog due to its low amounts of up-votes and following.

• Phylum
Seeing sufficient interest shown for Phylum, we're going to re-initiate and continue the SOA experiment and foray into Experiential Process Design for Graphic Novels and Story.
If interested in participating in Experiential Story Design with us, familiarize yourself with this SOA feature as it will be the source of at least one larger contest and initiative in the future.

• Arts and Sciences Media Features • In and Around SoCal (New)
We're going to initiate some SOA Arts and Sciences Media Features we follow and participate in and around Southern California, and see how that goes.
These activities center around the entertainment industry, Art Center College of Design, USC, Cal Arts, UCLA, Cal Tech, and the Claremont Colleges.
