It ain't always about you!

"I am tired!"
"If you're tired then take a break, Rest!"
"Where do I take a break from when all around me I see people with the same expectations from me?! I will just end my life to stop this all!!!"

An angered Betty turned immediately and said: "look at me Lisa,Listen to me! No matter how tough this life is, you've got no reason to take your life!"
She made me promise that no matter how depressing it gets, I won't take my life.
And I did.

I made that promise and six months since that promise, I have lived and I have survived.

But here was Betty in a white casket, killed by her own mental exhaustion.
I wish I made her make that promise too; maybe she'd have had something to hold on to.
Something that would stop her back from taking her life.
Just maybe.
