Speed visited Nigeria
Good day, Hivenaija!
It is nice to appear here and to make my first post in this community.
In the last three days or so, the biggest YouTube streamer, as he is being labelled, visited Nigeria as part of his Africa tour to celebrate his 21st birthday. There was, and still is, a lot of buzz about his visitation. Even when I did not want to see or hear anything related to his visit, the internet did not allow me to scroll in peace.

Is it only me who did not care about his visit?
I will take pride in this, and some people can go ahead and call me names. I did not, and still do not, find the buzz around his visitation interesting. The way people were all over the place just to meet him, greet him, touch him, or take photos with him was surprising to me. If it were only people like me in Nigeria, he would not have gotten a single hype at all.
I am not hating on him. I do not even know much about him. I am just surprised at how people were crying just to meet him. I had to calm down and properly check if there was something else he adds to the streams he does, or if it is just the streaming alone that is making everyone want to meet him.
I was born into this generation, but sometimes I feel very far away from it, as I find some things in this generation very strange and off.
