The aesthetically coolest Tekken game in the series! | Tekken 4 Story Mode Gameplay [ENG/ESP]
Hello members of the Geek Zone community, I'm Spardaryodan and I hope you are doing great, for some time I wanted to share a content with you, but due to the lack of time and other personal issues I was not able to do it. The thing is that now that I finally have the chance, I decided to bring to you a gameplay of an interesting game from a franchise that maybe some people here are familiar with, I’m talking about Tekken 4.
This fighting game was developed by Namco and released for PS2 in 2002, curiously it is an installment that did not enjoy as much popularity as Tekken 3 or Tekken 5, because it brought some experimental mechanics that did not please all the fans of the series. It is worth mentioning that I had the opportunity to play this game for the first time in its version for Arcade machines, during my adolescence and after some time, I bought it when I finally had my own PS2 console.
I decided to focus this gameplay that I made, on showing you all the stages of the story mode, which consists of defeating eight opponents in their respective scenarios, in order to unlock the final cinematic sequence for the character that we have played with.
As I wanted to make things a bit more interesting, I decided to set the difficulty of the game to very hard mode to test my skills with the fighter Jin Kazama, it is worth mentioning that he is not the character that I mainly chose to play with, that would be his father, Kazuya Mishima, however, I consider that in this installment, Jin has a very powerful and efficient repertoire of techniques.
In addition, I want to tell you that as a fan of this gaming series since I played the fantastic Tekken 3 on PS1 when I was a kid, this fourth installment of Tekken was one of the fighting titles that impressed me the most back then, due to the design of its closed arenas with destructible elements and its more realistic aesthetics compared to previous games.
As for its storyline, you only need to watch the introductory sequence to realise that the game has a more complex, serious and darker tone than previous and even subsequent entries, as it explains details about the strange powerful abilities of character such as Kazuya and Jin, thanks to the inclusion of some science fiction elements. I find this aspect to be very interesting, because I think many fighting games don't usually have so well crafted stories.
Well friends that's all for today, it was very entertaining to remember old times playing this interesting fighting game and share it with you, I hope you have enjoyed my content and see you in a next post.
