When you least expect it...
When your toddler speaks his first coherent sentence.
This happened to me a few weeks ago when the kid passed out napping close to dinner time. Of course, that didn't stop me to cook the meal. By the time he got up, you could tell he was a bit upset.
I said what I said, then he replied groggily. It took me a few seconds to realize what had happened. But hey, they all grow up some day.
