Tesoros en el Centro de Porlarmar 🧐 [ESP/ENG]

Holis amigos, ¿Cómo se encuentran? Hace tiempo quería hacer un post comentandoles como era encontrar joyitas en el centro de Porlamar, se que no soy la única de este universo que es cazadora de ofertas, porque las mujeres venezolanas somos así nos gusta lo bueno, bonito y barato, no me lo nieguen! Salí con mi mamá al centro de porlarmar ayer, porque ví mi amigo fiel Instagram que hay una tiendita en el centro que se llama la casa del perfume y vende imitaciones o como le gusta llamarlo a ellos, INSÑIRACIONES de colonias en el top 10, aunque yo nunca e sido de colonias porque tengo gustos costosos, me confirmaba con cualquier crema y eliminaba las colonias de mi mundo, sin embargo al llegar allí dije mi amor este es tu momento de brillar y enloquecí jaja osea las colonas con aceites es lo mejor que puede existir en este universo para las personas de clase medio pobre, porque clase media aún no somos hermanas!

Hey friends, how are you all doing? I’ve been wanting to write a post for a while now to tell you what it’s like to find little gems downtown in Porlamar. I know I’m not the only one in this universe who’s a bargain hunter—because that’s just how we Venezuelan women are: we love things that are good, pretty, and cheap. Don’t deny it! I went out with my mom to downtown Porlamar yesterday because I saw on my trusty friend Instagram that there’s a little shop downtown called La Casa del Perfume that sells knockoffs—or as they like to call them, “INSPIRATIONS” of the top 10 colognes. Even though I’ve never been into cologne because I have expensive tastes—I’d just stick with any body lotion and eliminate cologne from my world— However, when we got there, I said, “My love, this is your moment to shine,” and I went crazy, haha. I mean, colognes with essential oils are the best thing that could possibly exist in this universe for people in the lower-middle class—because we’re not middle class yet, sisters!

La chica que me atendió me mostró un catálogo, con las inspiraciones y okey si tenía sientas, escogí una loción de Ariana grande, luego una con nombre de JUM JUM y para finalizar pregunté ¿Oye tienes la bomba de Carolina Herrera? Y adivinenn si la tenía, tanto que tiene una imitación que está en mi lista de próximas compras, el olor es súper similar y porque lo sé en costazul siempre ofrecen muestras en papel faoami y si el arma es igual!! Me encantó, lo mejor es que dura en el cuerpo, así que bueno es una opción entre los tesoros del centro.

The girl who helped me showed me a catalog with some inspiration, and okay, since I had some time, I picked out a large bottle of Ariana lotion, then one called JUM JUM, and finally I asked, “Hey, do you have the Carolina Herrera perfume?” And guess what—she did have it! In fact, they even have a knockoff that’s on my list of upcoming purchases—the scent is super similar, and I know this because at Costazul they always offer samples on foam paper, and the bottle is exactly the same!! I loved it—the best part is that it lasts on your skin, so yeah, it’s definitely a great option among the treasures downtown.

La joyita número dos, fue Nirvana tienda a nivel nacional, allí encontre cositas: medias, diademas y estos trajes de baños que estaban para morirse. Aquí encontramos de todo, hasta tiene una área con libretas en cinco dólares, lo que está cool si eres como yo, que anota todo porque si no lo olvida jaja. Estaban estos mini edredones, los colores me ultra llamaban la atención y no sabía si comprarlo o comprar una cortina en mango bajito de 5$ cortar y usarla como manta jaja, lo que se es que la mano me picaba, pero ya tengo un aproximado de precios y textura y para cuando vaya a mango bajito tomaré esa decisión.

The second little gem was Nirvana, a nationwide chain. There I found some little things: socks, headbands, and these swimsuits that were to die for. You can find everything here—they even have a section with $5 notebooks, which is cool if you’re like me and write everything down because otherwise you’ll forget it, haha. There were these mini comforters—the colors really caught my eye—and I didn’t know whether to buy one or get a $5 curtain from Mango Bajito, cut it up, and use it as a blanket, haha. All I know is that I was itching to buy something, but now I have a rough idea of the prices and textures, so when I go to Mango Bajito, I’ll make that decision.
