일전에 약속한대로 오늘은 스팀걸 블랙버전(다운보팅걸)을 만들어보겠습니다.

Concept Development

스팀걸은 스팀CI의 색과 고전만화의 조합으로 제작했었습니다.
그래서 그 컨셉을 그대로 유지해서 색이랑 장식만 변경한 버전을 준비하려했습니다.

Today I will make a steemgirl black version that symbolizes Downvote.
At first I thought of the version that changed color and costume by inheriting the concept of the first version of the steemgirl.

구상은 재미있는데 디자인이 지난번 것이랑 비슷해서 재미없네요.

머리로는 생각을 하고 손으로는 스케치를 하고 눈으로는 자료를 찾습니다.(멍때리면서 낙서했습니다.)
유튜브로 고양이 동영상을 보면서 심신의 안정을 찾던 중 구체관절 인형 얼굴 리페인팅하는 동영상을 보았습니다.
도자기 인형의 한 종류였는데 보자마자 이거다 싶었습니다.
아름답지만 차가운 질감. 인간의 형태지만 묘하게 왜곡된 인체. 제가 생각한 이미지에 딱 맞습니다.
몇 가지 인형제작업체의 모델을 조사해보고 디자인을 결정했습니다.

But it is boring.
Making variations of the first one is not enough.
This time, we will use ceramic dolls as a concept.
After researching sculptures and cartoons, I found out that the image of the girl I liked and the girl I wanted was the closest to the doll.

여러 인형회사 제품을 참고해서 아래의 버전을 완성시켰습니다.

I have completed the following version with reference to the products of various doll makers.

메이드, 사이보그, 미소녀의 컨셉이 조합된 것은 순전히 우연입니다.

The concept of maid, cyborg, and girl was included.

펜선을 넣어줍니다.
ClipStudioEX 기본 G-pen브러시를 사용했습니다.

I will put the pen line.
I used the G-pen brush of ClipStudioEX app.

painting

비교적 평범한 스타일로 채색했지만 팔과 다리부분에만 그라데이션을 넣었습니다.
1도 망점 인쇄시절이었으면 그라데이션 톤이 들어갔겠지요.
아쉬워서 컬러로 재현해봤습니다.

I painted it in a relatively normal style, but I only put a gradient on her arms and legs.
This is a homage to a classic comic book artist.

배경이랑 질감을 줘서 완성?해봤는데 뭔가 아쉽습니다.

Add background and texture.
Is this really done?
I missed something.
I want to make something more interesting.

typography and fx

이것만 하면 재미없으니까 한단계 더 만져봅시다.
하얀 박스안에 그림을 넣고 게임화면처럼 만들어봤습니다.
옛날 브라운관 시절의 패미콤 등에서 유행했던 게임의 캐릭터 정보창 화면입니다.
레트로 느낌을 살리기 위해서 화면에 줄을 넣어서 브라운관의 티비느낌을 주었습니다.

Let's touch one more step because it is not fun when we finish here.
I put an image in a white box and made it look like a game screen.
It is the character information window screen of the game which was popular in NES of old days of CRT.
To make a retro feel, I put a line on the screen to make it look like a CRT display.
