IBM Developing New Supply Chain System Using Blockchain
IBM has developed a new supply chain system using the blockchain technology. They already have 400 clients; including Maersk and Walmart. It sounds like a disruptive technology put to good use and now being well-marketed. This kind of news is exciting. It gets more people to hear about the blockchain technology and even start seeing more uses and start more growth.
I read this article on an investment website and it is pushing people to invest is this hot technology; starting with IBM.
It got me to thinking how this could be used at my company; which is basically in the supply chain business. So I will provide this suggestion and my thoughts on it. This is a way to really make a leap and get ahead of the competition. I just wonder if Amazon is already going down this direction to use blockchain for their supply chain.
