Smartlands Team: Viсtor Yermak

Behind every successful project is a great team. Smartlands is not an exception. So we would like you to learn more about our team. And the first member we would like to introduce is Viсtor Yermak.

Victor Yermak is the Smartlands’ Director of Business Development and an expert in the area of cloud computing. An IT industry veteran with more than 17 years of progressing experience, Victor has spent 10 years in various leadership roles.

Victor was among the key contributors to the expansion of Kvazar-Micro in CEE (Lithuania, Bulgaria, and Romania) and CIS (Russia and Kazakhstan) in 2002 – 2007. As International Business Development Director he closely collaborated with global and local partner organizations to ensure the success of multiple strategic initiatives.

A year later, in 2008, Victor joined Sitronics Information Technologies in Ukraine, a system integration part of an LSE-listed technology conglomerate (LSE: SITR) and served as Head of Innovations and R&D for 2 years.

In 2010, Mr. Yermak became a Director of Business Development of KM Ware, a division of KM Core technology investment holding. He was responsible for driving the development of a full range of company products including SAP and cloud services, vertical cloud computing software products for emergency/healthcare services, construction, and agribusiness for the next 4 years.

In 2014, Victor joined eFarmer, a cloud farm management system. He was responsible for the development of partnership network and selling.

In January 2015 Victor Yermak became a CEO of Skyglyph (the Smartlands’ partner), a cloud-based platform that has developed a proven technology to effectively evaluate agricultural assets and convert that evaluation into actionable Big Data. He is responsible for operative management of company and product strategy.

Victor Yermak — was nominated as one of four finalists in The Digital Insurer Award 2017 in the Start-Up InsurTech category. Also Skyglyph took 2d place in the INSURY STARTUP AWARD 2017 and included in the list of top 100 insurtech companies by version DIA TOP 100 INSURTECH.
