That about sums up the story of Smart Alec Tees, if we can even claim to have a story worth telling. We're here, and we're building something that just might not be terrible...

It's more fair to say our story is just beginning, even if that's a complete lie (which it is)... because the truth could be closer to a 2018 origin that went nowhere (which it is).

But shh... we only built this little online store so that we could put a donkey on our logo and strut around concocting absurd, smart-ass anecdotes in the darkest recesses of Twitter. So we succeeded.

Full Stop. Smart Alec Tees. Period.

You'll get used to our style (and our use of the third person narrative) or you'll shake your head as you cross the street to avoid us. (Don't be like that. Where are you going? Why are you running now?!)

These are creative decisions made early on by our Founder and Grand Master Ninja-- @thatcryptodave-- and his beautiful muse, partner and daughter, @sydney.potts. What they say goes around here... so hopefully they think of something valuable to say.

Hmm... Hive Power-Up Day!

Yeah, that's the ticket! And staying true to the Smart Alec brand, we're squeaking this post in only A FEW MINUTES before the end of #HivePUD. Sexy, popular people call this being "fashionably late"... so... umm... that's what we just said.

And we don't have much more to say right now, but there is a FLOOD of awesome sauce coming this way shortly and everyone should take all necessary precautions. That could mean gathering supplies and getting to high ground... or it could mean standing ready, with your mouth open and the biggest Tupperware containers you can find. The choice is yours.

What is this awesome sauce I speak of?

Well, let's just say we're focusing on Hive right now. Sweet products, some good information and the integration of HIVE, HBD and Hive Engine tokens into our checkout process! So you'll be able to pay with CTP or POB or STARBITS or SWAP.BTC, SWAP.ETH... you get the picture.

Most of the stuff will be more standard, but we do have some fun too. So if you'd like a bit of attitude injected into your style, then stay tuned... we'll keep you posted.
