Smalltall: renovating!
Wondering why we've been a bit quiet recently?
As the warmer months have rolled in we've become increasingly busy renovating our little Dutch house from SUPER daggy to something we can be proud of. This has been an ongoing project since we moved into the house in July 2016 (almost 3 years ago!) and we're finally nearrrrly finished. Well, at least for now as we plan an even bigger project - more on that another time.
Last weekend temperatures reached 30C here which meant Smalltall broke out the shorts (excuse the VERY pale legs) and got cracking on painting all the windows and door frames...phew what a job! We have very different skills from each other - and different hates too for that matter. So while you'll never find Small sanding a tricky window frame, you'll NEVER find Tall painting a straight line with no guides. Hence why you'll see Small up the tallest ladder we could find detailing the cornice while Tall squeezes himself in to paint the underside of the shutters.
Sometimes size does not dictate the jobs you're good at.
