Trying new menu at the same cafe
It’s not calming, but sometimes not too crowded either
I think I wrote about this café a while ago after I first discovered it through my friends. But in that blog I only wrote about the downstairs area of this café. While the atmosphere is pretty similar, I sometimes find it helpful to try different seating areas to be more focused. So that day, I went upstairs to check out the vibes. Here’s how it looks in a first glance:
The seating style may look pretty similar to the downstairs area, but I think the wooden ceiling makes the atmosphere feel a bit different. Brown almost always makes a room feel a little warmer in my opinion, and it also enhances the aesthetic of this area even more. There’s also a fairly large glass window overlooking the trees from the street side. Somehow, it adds a touch of scenery and natural lights.
I personally like sitting in one of the corners near the window just because I can gaze at the sky and it feels like I can enjoy the outdoor atmosphere without even having to be outside, if that makes sense lol. Because let’s be honest, who can beat the heat?😅
The outdoors in the upstairs area of this café somehow feels more pleasant than the one downstairs, in my opinion. There are several seating styles suitable for the visitors that come in groups or just two people. This outdoor area is definitely for a night hangout, because it also has a tall building in the background (which I don’t even know what is that)
I usually order the same brown sugar latte every time I visit this café. But that day, I wanted to try something new. So I think I ordered an iced chocolate pistachio or something like that, I can’t remember the exact name. But it was so good! It wasn’t too sweet as well, which I like. For some reason, I rarely order chocolate drinks at any café, so maybe I should try them more often.
For the snack, I also opted for other options beside the ones I always had, which is a burger and fried rice. That day I ordered cireng. It’s a simple snack here in where I live, which is fried tapioca starch. It’s not healthy nor even fulfilling (with the similar price, I’d rather have a burger and fried rice), but who can resist cireng?😂 I mean, it’s crispy, chewy, and somehow just tastes the same no matter where you buy it.
It’s been a while since my last visit. Because the place is quite big and it’s a pretty well-known café, so sometimes I just worry that I’ll meet people that I know and then they’ll recognize me, aigooo what a weirdo😅
I always have this kind of nerveness, even when it’s unnecessary. Has anyone experienced a similar feeling? Let me know that I’m not alone🤣
Anyway, that’s it for today’s café blog. Thanks for reading as always, and have a great day!
