Should We Be Aggressively Using Voting Bots

So recently, I discovered that most people here on Steemit are using bots for upvoting their posts. Some of us may think that these are cheap tricks and regardless of that it's proven to be a profitable way to earn extra upvotes on Steemit. I agree some of spend lots of time and energy into our posts and we do not get enough recognition. So, using bots we can reward our self for our work.
So what's I'm asking you guys are what are your strategy and how are you calculating your rewards because i found myself loss instead of profits after curation?
What are your favorite bots?
What are your favorite tricks and tips for good profit?

I'm going to share some things that I discovered

1. Use steemfollower to get extra upvote. It's Kind of upvote for upvote system. You just need to upvote 5 posts perday

2. Use Steem Engine. Its similar to steemfollower. But I found this one much effective and we can also gain about 15 followers per day.

3. Use steemvoter to automatically upvote the posts of author you like to earn curation rewards.

4. Use https://steembottracker.com/ to find all upvote bots, its hard to find profiting bots though.

Bots I used so far

Randowhale - most effective one but sleeps most of the time.
minnowbooster - high demand resulting in lower value vote, but guarantees profit.
postpromoter - tried once, good profit.
