The world is trembling Alas! The glory is gone Destruction is ringing Rest runs from everyone. The sun falls with its might Its light turns to darkness The world cried with full might Gone, the world's greatness. Here comes the darkest hour Earth's joys grow dim, its glories pass away The world looses her power Will the toils of life repay? We are bound but longing to be free We are weary waiting for rest How long will this be? We have done all our best. We dine on the table of darkness Unanimously we weep in sorrow We are bound together in sadness No one could speak of tomorrow. Here comes what we never except The darkest hour.
