Perfume: The aromatic compounds

In the three weeks industrial training which I was part of, I was taught incredible things that develops a passion in me to know and go into perfume business.

What I learned is as following:
Perfume is a combination of aromatic compounds. There are two main types of perfume: alcohol-based and oil-based.

Alcohol-based perfumes can be categorized into two types: "perfume" and "parfume."

Oil-based perfumes come in different forms, such as Surratic oil-based, Arabic oil-based, and Industrial oil-based, with Industrial oil perfume being the best form of oil-based perfume.

Perfume contains 20-30% industrial oil. For instance, a composition with 30 portions of alcohol and the remaining portion oil can last for 12 hours.

Eau de perfume contains 20% oil and lasts for 8 hours.

Eau de toilette has a concentration of 5-15% oil and can last for 47 hours.

Eau de cologne contains 23-40% oil and can last for 3 hours.

Eau de Fraiche contains 1-3% industrial oil and can last for 1-2 hours.

A Measuring Pipette is utilized for measurement.

Notes in perfumery are descriptors of scents. There are three basic notes in a perfume: top notes, middle notes, and base notes.

The top notes represents the initial, lightest scent and lasts for 10-15 minutes. "Siname" is the fragrance found in the top notes.

Middle notes are recognized as hard nodes, representing the scents perceived once the top note has dissipated. These are considered the true perfume and can last for 2-3 hours.

The base notes represents the scents that are perceived after the middle notes has dissipated. It is the long-lasting note that can last for 24 hours, characterized by rich, heavy, and deep scents providing warmth and depth to the perfume.

Notes categories include the citrus notes, which comprises fresh scents such as orange, bergamot, and lemon. It's important to note that this is typically considered a feminine scent.
Just know this- a good scent is healthy for the body, likewise a bad scent uncomfortable and unhealthy to the body.
