AFTER THE CELEBRATION
It was an incredible moment filled with love and emotions as I organized their send-off and celebrated their victories after successfully navigating their journey through the university.
I referred to them as "Aluta Warriors" because it takes those with a "warrior's heart" to succeed in the university.
The event was titled "LAMPO PAS," derived from a Greek word meaning "Let's Shine For All." It is essential to recognize that the greatest pursuit of mankind in a dark world is the search for light. When individuals discover that light, their expectation is for it to shine for everyone.
The light we refer to here is not merely a concept, but a person—Jesus Christ, who is the Light of God sent to mankind. The university system mirrors the world in a concentrated setting, where individuals are trained to see and understand how the world operates. Everything you can encounter outside is found within this system, allowing you the freedom to make choices and experience the outcomes, helping you learn whether those choices were good or bad.
However, this liberty is not absolute; it serves as a means of learning. I have come to believe that to upgrade, change, and transform any nation, one must begin with the educational systems.
In the realm of religion, many conflicts arise from the lack of understanding and literacy regarding what religion truly offers humanity. Education goes beyond merely knowing facts; it encompasses the ability to think critically and create great results that can enlighten and change your world.
In conclusion, during the course of the event, I was presented with an Award of Honor in recognition of my outstanding dedication, exemplary leadership, and commitment to the ideals of the Religious Education Family in the Department of Curriculum Studies, Educational Management, and Planning within the Faculty of Education at the University. Additionally, I served as the Family Head, overseeing the students within this family. I view this recognition as a step toward fulfilling God’s predetermined plan for my life.
