Travel Vlog - Welcome to Bali

Something that stuck out to me during this trip was a conversation I had with one of our hotel drivers. He said that he visited America several times before and mentioned how nice everything was over here. When I asked if he'd ever consider moving out here, he said that although America was a great place to travel to, he would never trade anything for the Balinese community. The Balinese people take pride in their tight-knit communities and loyalty to their families. He said that even if he is not that close to his siblings, they will always be there to support one another because family is family. He even said that all the neighbors are very close and are invited to weddings so that everyone in the community can bond. It was really eye-opening to see so many people living in impoverished conditions, but still be so happy.

All in all, this trip was so amazing and I am so thankful for my parents who made it all happen. I know that I am very blessed and not everyone is able to travel to places like Bali, so I hope you were able to experience a little bit of Bali through my vlog and photos!
