Roses in the rain

Most of the women usually love flowers even since they were little. I was totally the opposite. I didn't like flowers when I was much younger. I usually said something like "Why do people give flowers to their beloved ones on special occasions. It was such a waste.". Hmm, that was so weird for me to remind. I can't believe that I could say something bad like this. But luckily, I have been changing dramatically! The older I become, the more I love natural gifts, especially flowers! Am I more feminine? 😅 I don't know without a fact that I always see the smiles looking at flowers. As I told you, I wasn't very keen on flowers, specifically roses! Now I am a big fan of roses. Their delicate, tender petals touch me so much. The power doesn't only stem from strength but also tenderness.

In daily life, it is popular that people use strength (strength of words, the strength of position, the strength of the material,..) to overwhelm others but we forget that the nice words and tenderness also have their power which comes from the gentleness, kindness even love. Different from another kind of power, tenderness can touch hearts even motivate or inspire others to overcome many many problems.
Someone said that children, as well as flowers, are 2 sources of positive energy. For me, it is really true. Maybe because they draw my attention when I see them. Then I can forget the rush of life around. That's when there are only me and the presence.
As a hobby, sometimes when I feel down or very high, I will come to the flower shop and choose a colorful bouquet as a little gift for myself. A vase of gorgeous florals and a cup of hot tea will be a perfect couple for embracing myself. 😊
