DIY cold porcelain wall vase
Recently, I decided to give cold porcelain another chance and started making some decorative objects with a batch of clay that had been forgotten at home.
My first idea was to make a wall vase, perfect for decorating and holding dried flowers.
I’ll admit that working with cold porcelain still requires a lot of patience from me, but I was determined not to give up. To make things easier, I created a cardboard template and simply cut the clay in the same shape. Then I made another piece for the vase section and carefully joined everything together.
After 24 hours of drying, it was time to sand the pieces and start my favorite step: painting. For this first vase, I decided to use colors and paints I already had at home and went with a combination of pink and red.
I think the result turned out really cute and matched my decor perfectly. I also made a small decorative plaque, but I’ll talk about it in the next post.
See you soon!
