A tiny crochet touch
It’s been a long time since I last posted here in the community and on Hive too, because life has been a bit hectic and mostly about work. Even so, I’ve been trying to bring some hobbies into my daily routine, to remind myself that they are what truly nurture me and give meaning to my life.
Crochet is an old hobby of mine, and every now and then I find myself back with a hook in hand, especially to create things I wish I had. I love the autonomy of crochet and how it allows me to bring different desires to life.
The example I’m sharing today is very small, but I think it reflects exactly what I mean. I recently thrifted this bag at a second-hand shop and immediately fell in love with it—it was already beautiful, of course.
But when I made this little crochet strawberry while trying out a new pattern, I instantly thought it matched the bag perfectly. So I used hot glue to attach the strawberry onto the straw surface, and I’m still admiring my creation, feeling super proud. I love how a simple crochet piece lets me customize things and make my objects completely unique.
This gave me so many new ideas, and I plan to share them all here soon.
See you later.
