SilverGoldHunter here and today I will be discussing a popular coin that has been gaining a lot of attention called

DOGECOIN

So let's start with the history of this coin

Dogecoin started as a joke or meme coin if you want to say it, either way, was created on December 6th 2013 by IBM software engineer Billy Markus and Adobe engineer Jackson Palmer as their intention was to create more of a broader demographic than the main crypto which is Bitcoin.

At the start of its creation, DOGECOIN's Price started at a minuscule US$0.00026 but after 72 hours US$0.00095 with the sudden increase by nearly 300%, then after 3 days after its creation it had crashed by dropping 80% due to its mining pools and computer's powers as well and not forgetting it's problems it has had on December 25, 2013, with everyone's wallet being hacked on Doge wallet which left a damaging reputation for both Dogecoin and fans as well.

STARTING OF A MAJOR CLIMB

After the hacking on December 25, 2013, the trading volume of Dogecoin has surpassed Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies combined for the first time in their history which was then later that Jackson Palmer left the community in 2015 which had zero plans of return, But I want to know is WHY?

With the beginning of the crypto bubble of 2017 to early 2018, Dogecoin hit new heights of $0.017 on January 7 2018 with a total capitalization of US$2B.

DOGECOIN TREND

During the month of July 2020, it has shown a lot of attention on social media on Tiktok which had started the trend in an attempt to reach the $1 mark,

which has again further attention on January 2021 from Reddit which has inspired the CEO of Tesla Elon Musk and GameStop Shirt Squeeze which then was growing momentum on Twitter from not just from Elon Musk but Snopp Dogg & Gene Simmonds & again a month later from the owner of the Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban.

Between 4-9, May 2021 was frankly an up and down moment, with Dogecoin hitting $0.50 on a 20,000% high and then dropping down on his appearance on Saturday Night Live and sending Dogecoin to space which was stated on the 9 May 2021.

HOW MUCH CAN PEOPLE MAKE ON DOGE?

I have been doing a lot of research on Twitter as there are a lot of people talking about Dogecoin with over 6,000 Tweets in the last hour.

And also what I have found on Twitter is that people are becoming millionaires on crypto such the Twitter user SlumDOGE Millionaire or @ProTheDoge who has over $1.2M Dollars
