TEACHING IS REWARDING

Teaching is a very rewarding profession. Apart from the salary you are paid, there's a lot of so many non- material benefits too. As a teacher, you are not just responsible for the academic performance of a child. You have to make a wholly child which includes teaching them good morals such as honesty, hardwork, life skills such as punctuality, neatness organization etc, survival skills such as empathy, forgiveness etc The kind of children the teachers of yesterday make, is what our society has now. If you make them half-baked, we also enjoy the result later.
So while teaching them all these things; both academics and non academics, we also learn many things from the children and we try to be a good model to them. When we see these children later on exhibiting those things we taught them, we feel happy and fulfilled.
