Author rewards are losing in value? Test finished!

I was wondering why the Author rewards are falling during the 7 day upvoting period. I predicted that the value goes down as the activity on the post goes down. I was wrong.

From the following chart we can see that the average post value follows the Steem currency price. Apart from the starting CP (control points) when upvote activity was high, we can see that comments do not influence the post value.

Value of post and Steem currency price are correlated from the CP5 on as the upvotes became fewer. Small deviation occurs on @eirik upvote at CP8.

Graph 1 shows Average post value and Steem price through time.

Graph 2 shows the activity on the post through CP's and compares it with Post value. We can see that activity has no role in Author reward losses.

Since @valued-customer made this clear in his comment I conclude that he was correct. Author reward value was droping because of Steem price losing value and not because of low activity on the post.
