The afternoon has come and the sun is setting on the horizon.
I leaned out the window and missed you.
I had never thought about how to admire the sunset.
The longing was as strong as death.

There was no longer the song of birds.
Nor the song of cicadas.
No fluttering of the hummingbirds, just missing you.
The afternoon went and came at night I entered it, loneliness came.

The great longing for you.
Now only silence, only night.
I discover a new feeling with regret.
Emptiness, the feeling that something is missing.

How will it be from now on?
How will I survive this?
Grey, black and white, the paint is gone.
What was left, I just miss you.

A tarde veio e o sol se põe no horizonte.
Debrucei na janela e senti saudade sua.
Nunca havia pensado em como admirar o pôr do sol.
A saudade fosse tão forte quanto a morte.

Já não havia o canto dos pássaros.
Nem o canto das cigarras.
Nenhum esvoaçar dos colibris, apenas saudade sua.
A tarde se foi e veio à noite nela entrei, veio a solidão.

A grande saudade sua.
Agora só silencio, apenas noite.
Descubro um novo sentimento com pesar.
O vazio, a sensação de que algo falta.

Como será daqui para frente?
Como sobreviverei a isso?
Cinzas, preto e branco, a pintura se foi.
O que ficou, apenas saudade sua.
