[ENG/PT-BR] Talk, Understand and Forgive.

I went through a difficult week and it left me frustrated. The reason is even simple and perhaps routine in our lives: I had a heavy disagreement with someone I really like and with that, I was very sad and with that bitter feeling that the discussion had gone too far.
Defending our point of view is not wrong, but there was a good time when it didn't go that far, to the point of almost losing a friendship for simply exposing what I think about a subject. And for me, this person's friendship is something very important and valuable.
Despite thinking I was right, on the subject discussed, we spent 5 days (yes, I counted the days) without talking to each other. I was waiting for a contact from the person that did not happen. So, I went through a process of self-criticism and realized that, in fact, we both made mistakes.
It wasn't an easy decision, I know we waited for the person to come and apologize to us, but I felt like they weren't going to do that. I may be judged that I acted wrongly by calling the person to talk and explain again the points that we exalted, but as I said, it is an important friendship for me.
Finally, we created topics about what went wrong and how we could improve on them, I made it very clear that the change should come from both of us and not just from one or the other. A good conversation, a lot of understanding and finally mutual forgiveness. Everything resolved and the friendship continues!
Tudo resolvido e a amizade continua!
