Learning

One of the most freeing lessons I've learned:

You don't have to attend every misunderstanding about you.

Some people will misread your intentions.
Some will create their own version of your story.

Let them.

I've learned that peace begins where the need to constantly explain yourself ends.

The people who truly see your heart won't need a long explanation.

And those determined to misunderstand you never will.

Protecting your peace is not weakness.

It's wisdom.
