Bananas, A precious Gift
My very good friend whom I did not see for years due to the pandemic paid me a short visit yesterday. She was also my classmate in college and I am grateful that we are still close together even though we live far away.
She brought me a variety of bananas such as lakatan, latundan and saba (cardaba).
One of our favourite dessert of our family and sometimes we eat it for breakfast.
We cook some ripe saba (cardaba) right away for our merienda or snack. We made a fried banana with a sprinkle of brown sugar. Delish and lovely with coffee.
This is the Preparations for making savoury fried banana.
- Slice the Banana plantain in half.
- Coat or sprinkle with brown sugar.
- Fry until golden brown. Serve warm and Enjoy!
Here is a picture of us with our children. I will keep this picture in my heart and cherish our friendship.
Thank you for taking time to read and wishing you a nice day.
Till next time.
