What is Christianity

Many at times I hear people talk of Christianity as a religion, or going to church,or calling Jesus. Christianity at first means like Christ ,the question remains who is Christ.
Jesus Christ was a man that gave his life for all mankind for man sin he gave up everything he was in the world from the beginning but was not known by the world so the Bible says he was born of a virgin having no sin died on the cross for all mankind now the question is what kind of man dies for the sin of many- Jesus christ a saviour a friend.
But what we forget is he didn't just die like that he actually died for us to receive something (john 3:16) talks of Jesus dieing that we may receive eternal life a life of Christ
Is their anything we as christians must do as we have received eternal life, yes of course (luke 24:44-47) talks of us Christians teaching the gospel as we have received eternal life we are to shed this light to the public.
But you become a Christian by only one way believing the gospel not just believing that Jesus exist but believing that he died he was buried and ressurected for our sakes that's when we become real christians now it's left for you to believe and teach others what you believe.
