This story is very fascinating. Lingaya gets up early in the morning to get this juice from Palmyra fruit. Climbing the tree takes skills. It looks easy to climb the tree but it is extremely difficult. You need good grip and hand strength to climb the tree. He uses rope to climb. Once he reaches the top he takes the juice out of the fruit. This juice is very healthy. It can cure lot of problems in your body. The benefits of the juice are mentioned below:

  Now this wonder drink is called Neera. It needs to be consumed within 10 minutes of removing the drink. If it is fermented, it turns into alcohol. People also use it for softening idli. Neera is found in the southern part of India. This video was shot in India,Andhra Pradesh, Chinnapur village. There is no state government sponsorship/support to promote neera or its by-products at retail outlets. Only the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) promotes neera as a health drink. . The pay that Lingaya gets is very less. Hardly it helps him survive. Good part is these guys are still passionate of what they do. It doesn’t matter how much they earn. They do their good job.
