Finally closing up the scuttle panel
After quite a long time, my last post was in May, I got to closing up the scuttle panel in December of 2024.
I made use of plastic tile levellers to hold the piece I had cut out ages ago in place.
While it worked to hold it in situ, it did also lead to some misalignment that I only picked up after welding and grinding back the welds. Oh well, there will be filler needed, no doubt.
With that done I could weld in another part that I shaped earlier the year, as I was now sure it would not interfere with the scuttle panel.
All this was done in between hanging the door a few times to make sue nothing interferes.
