Banana Heart

We often see bananas that have heart. Do you know the function of the heart of the banana itself?
The heart of bananas has many functions, especially to form bananas. There is also a type of banana whose heart can be used as a vegetable.
How does the banana heart function when it is fruitful?
It would be nice if the banana has been fruitful then the heart is cut. One simplicity here, namely to prevent bananas to shrink because too many substances needed by bananas to flow into the heart of bananas.
When the banana is large and old enough, many of the bananas have heart. This is done so that the banana has enough nutrients and protien, so that the fruit of bananas will enlarge because it has no heart.
Many of Indonesian farmers do this and this is done so that bananas are harvested capable of providing satisfactory results.
