1. Element: Element is the simplest form of matter. It is a pure substance containing same kind of atoms.
Properties: Element may be metal and non-metal. Element may be metalloid and a noble gas. Element exist in the form of atoms, molecules, ions and isotopes etc.
Example: Sodium, Potassium, Magnesium, zinc and copper etc.
2. Compound: Compound is a pure substance it is made up of two or more different chemically element combined in a Fixed ratios.
Properties: Compound **have strong bonds compound are organic and inorganic in natures. Compound are molecular ionic, under metallic and coordination complexes.
Example: Water, Ammonia, Methance and carbon dioxide.
