Dear Grey...

What do you see, from your cozy retreat,
From the warmth of your blanket, where dreams and life meet..
What do you see, when in playful disguise,
When you wriggle a little, to free up your eyes...

Do you see me, as I certainly do, you,
Do you recognize, that we're playing peekaboo..
Would you recall this moment, would you remember today,
Would your memories remain, or like mine, they'll go away...

My best friend in the university used to have a dog, and his name was Grey. He was a lovely and friendly dog, maybe too friendly because there were times he almost left with strangers.

Grey is dead today, and my best friend is no longer in the country. This image just reminded me of both of them, and the long months when we shared an apartment together.
