Witness Campaign

I'm relative new to https://steemit.com and i'm trying to understand how it works in deep.

I know i have to read the Steem Bluepaper, the Steem Whitepaper and the SMT Whitepaper.

In the meantime, while i'm trying to understand the platform "on the job", i have notice that i can vote for witnesses.

More precisely i can vote for 30 witnesses.

Witnesses are who are delegated from the community to produce blocks in the Delegated Proof of Stake consensus mechanism.

I don't know what is the reveanue of witnesses, not even the requirements to be a witness, i only know that i can vote for 30 of them.

I would ask to each one of them why i should vote for.
