아르헨티나, 브라질, 우루과이이 원산지네요.
지역에 따라 꽃이 피는 시간이 달라파키스탄에서는 주로 오후에 피기 때문에 Gul Dopheri(오후 꽃)이라고도 불리는 반면, 인도에서는 주로 오전 9시에 피기 때문에 nau bajiya(9시 꽃)이라 불린다네요.
