This is Exploring the Chaos where I take a look on Chaos Legion cards including thier subsets such as Riftwatchers and the Reward cards, as they brought new abilities and strategies that changes how the game was played.
Last time, I have talked about the old Dragon rewards and how they were a great asset to have since you can play them together with one element of your choosing specially on low mana matches for most of them asode from Djiin Chwalla which has a higher mana cost but was also a very excellent tank with Thorns. Now, I will be reviewing the last element which is the old Neutral rewards but before that, here are the new Neutral Soulbound reward cards that we could get on our daily and season chest.
Reflection Shield makes Venator Kinjo immune on reflected and Blast damage.
Camouflage will prevent the opponent from directly targeting this card.
Slow will reduce the speed of all opponents as long as Venator Kinjo was in play.
Amplify will increase the damage of reflected damage by +1.

For this 26 mana battle, we have Fog of War rule set that makes Opportunity, Sneak and Snipe abilities were unusable while the Explosive Weaponry will give Blast ability to all monsters and because of that, I chooses Conqueror Jacek since it has the Scattershot ability which makes attacks random and for my tank, I choose Gargoya Lion which has Flying which has an increased chance to dodge melee and range attacks while it can reduce magic attacks with Void and when it gets damage, its melee and range got increased because of Enrage and got 5 melee damage and 6 speed.
As for Venator Kinjo, it reduces the speed of the all the opponents and is unaffected by the Blast damage as long as it was not directly hit by the opponent's attack.
For the 2nd battle, we have a 48 mana cap match with Reverse Speed which the attack priority comes with the monster with the lowest speed and Counterspell rule set which makes magic monsters to received damage when they attack. it also have the Divine Protection which makes the first attack on a target 0 damage. During the last round, Gargoya Devil was on the first position but since it has Close Range, it was able to attack and with Deathblow, deal a total of 8 damage to Lava Launcher.
For this battle, we have Target Practice which gives range and magic monsters the Snipe ability to attack the closest non melee monster to the first position but Fire and Regret will cause range monster to received damage so most likely, the opponent will resort to either melee or range damage so with that in mind, I place Pelacor Conjurer to be the target of magic attacks while I have Uraeus to attack with Sneak with 50% chance of dealing Poison affliction which will cause the opponent to lose -2 health every round just like what it did to Goblin Psychic.
Final Thoughts
The old Neutral rewards card were very convenient to have. They can be used together with other elements which can reduce the amount of cards one need to buy or rent but they also have cards that are particularly very notable for how game changing they are. The first one was Uraeus which was an outstanding Sneak monster together with Pelacor Bandit and Venator Kinjo which increases the chance of winning against Blast with its Reflection Shield which one can have as early as Bronze.
