I think it is a good idea to create a Hive dapp just for shortening links.

For example, the link to the Hive dapp can be https://hi.ve/, your list of original links can be on the dapp-specific post at https://hi.ve/@magnacarta (which on the Hive blockchain can be accessed on something like @magnacarta/hive-shortlinks), and adding a number at the end of the dapp's domain and your username (such as https://hi.ve/@magnacarta/1) automatically redirects to the link on the post corresponding to the number. Every time you add, edit, or remove a link on the dapp, the post just gets updated.

I thought about adding this comment to the Hive Improvement community, though that community looks inactive. Maybe I should post this on the #LeoFinance community instead (even though this is not about finance)?
